Four of Britain’s most popular photographers take aim at the Great British Seaside, regarding the eccentricities of waterside living with a playful and frequently profound eye. Featuring new and archival work from Tony Ray-Jones, David Hurn, Simon Roberts and Martin Parr, the National Maritime Museum’s exhibition dances between the satirical examination of coastal cliché and an earnest love letter to the nostalgia of the British beach.
