Have you heard of Op Art? It’s the mesmerising style of work from the 1960’s which provides inspiration for designers and artists to this present day. Leading figures included Bridget Riley and Victor Vasarely as they became renowned for combining lines, shapes and colour to trick the human eye. The exhibition at Liverpool’s Tate includes not only work from the founders of Op Art but also contemporary work from Angela Bulloch.
Exhibition runs until 2nd June 2019.
