A.P. Harreld is joining Bluefield, West Virginia NBC affiliate WVVA as an evening anchor.

Harreld will anchor the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts alongside Ben Schwartz.

He’s worked as a reporter for Wakeup Montana and as a Los Angeles-based national anchor for NBC News Radio. He’s also been a broadcaster for a Dodgers affiliate, a Thoroughbred track announcer at multiple Western venues, and the football and basketball play-by-play voice of Bemidji State University.

A.P. told the station he “appreciates the rare opportunity to anchor for this legendary NBC affiliate.”
