Role Details

Graphic designer who is tech-keen, you love using webapps, are always on the lookout for the latest and greatest in UX/UI design trends and love to get your hands down and dirty.
BLI is on the hunt for a capable, passionate and motivated graduate designer/Social Media extraordinaire to work with us and our clients on a wide range of digital projects.
The successful applicant will be professional and process driven; a self-starter with an aptitude towards generating ideas and solutions to meet our customer needs.
The role is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of digital and printed content across the BLI group targeting multiple channels within the property development industry.
You have an eye for detail, high calibre user interface design across mobile and web, bold ideas about design, user interaction and the future of technological interfaces.

Skill/Attributes Required

Branding & print design skills. Image creation, image manipulation and typography, colour and space
Digital design skills– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
Websites-Enough knowledge of HTML/CSS to be able to understand and manipulate code within a browser
Experience with WordPress and Squarespace – web design / development
EDM’s through MailChimp, track statistics and monitor open rates and social banners–
Ability to take direction, good communication & presentation skills
Producing artwork from concept to finished art
Organisational skills; ability to juggle multiple projects, work efficiently and meet deadlines
Develop marketing materials and presentations in PowerPoint (slides, look books, sell sheets, etc)
Providing design support for BLI’s marketing efforts in Australia, Asia, Middle East and Africa
Building and maintaining BLI’s brand experience in-market
Knowledge of web technologies/html/css (you do not need to be a developer though but need to understand how things will be built!)
Knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Suite, Figma, Invision, Principle and similar tools
Ability to work both within existing brand guidelines and on the development of new brands
Your filing is impeccable
Understanding of information architecture, responsive web, native mobile design
Exceptional skills in creating wireframes, responsive websites, mobile apps and digital marketing assets
Experience with creative writing and producing short-form written content
A design degree or diploma
A curious thinker with the ability to take initiative
Positive attitude, team player, and proactive contributor
Working time will average 15-20 hours per week (could be more or less depending on the week) and will be paid an hourly rate based on candidate’s level of experience and skill.

Copywriting for press releases and necessary marketing collateral
Managing multiple websites (basic understanding of CSS Code is desirable)
Knowledge & understanding of best practice UX/UI design & web standards
Sound understanding of design principles (and when to break them!)
Understanding of Agile software development practices
