How the Various News Networks Are Covering the Alaska Summit

MSNBC Reports will feature live reporting from Alaska, as well as foreign affairs experts. Jen Psaki will host a special two-hour edition of The Briefing With Jen Psaki at 8 p.m.

NBC News
Tom Llamas will anchor NBC Nightly News from Alaska and will be joined by Peter Alexander, Garrett Haake, and Monica Alba. NBC News will air special coverage on the network and NBC News Now as warranted throughout the day, with additional coverage on NBCNews.com.

Extensive coverage begins during The Record With Greta van Susteren at 6 p.m. Evening coverage will be helmed by Ed Henry, Rob Finnerty, and Shannon Cake. Correspondents in Alaska include Mike Carter, Logan Ratick, and Zach Anders. Guests appearing on the network include Gen. Wesley Clark, Gen. Blain Holt, Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), Kurt Volker, Bill Browder, and K.T. McFarland. Rick Leventhal will be leading coverage on Newsmax’s streaming platform, N2.

NewsNation
The network will offer special editions of The Hill at 6 p.m., Elizabeth Vargas Reports at 7 p.m., and On Balance With Leland Vittert at 8 p.m. Blake Burman will anchor a special two-hour live report at 10 p.m., with Kellie Meyer live from Anchorage and Robert Sherman live from Kyiv, Ukraine. NewsNation and The Hill’s politics editor, Chris Stirewalt, will deliver analysis from Washington, D.C.

PBS News
The news network’s live special coverage begins at 6 p.m., with updates provided at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., co-anchored by Amna Nawaz and Geoff Bennett, with reporting from Nick Schifrin from Anchorage, and analysis by various guests. 

Scripps News
Coverage will be led from Washington, D.C., by Del Walters, with political director Andrew Rafferty on set. Haley Bull and international correspondent Jason Bellini will be reporting from Alaska. National security correspondent Liz Landers will also report from Washington.

Spectrum News
The network’s coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. and will include post-press conference analysis hosted by Spectrum News+ anchor Josh Robin, featuring Spectrum’s Chris Welch, Taylor Popielarz, Cassie Semyon, and Tim Boyum.
