Shillington students from around the world share the work of creatives who inspire them in the #ILoveTheseGuys series. In this post, Sydney student Abraham Markos highlights projects from London-based design studio Studio NinetyOne.
Studio NinetyOne is a design studio based in London creating loveable and distinctive branding identities for print, digital platforms and spaces for small to big-name brands through resolute art direction.
One of their recent project’s that inspired me was the branding they did for a traditional Cantonese restaurant in London, called Three Uncles. They used design themes such as repetition, contrast and minimalism in their design to create a strong visual identity inspired by the neon signs and graphics found in shopfront and buildings in Hong Kong.
