A crew working for San Francisco ABC owned station KGO and their security guard were robbed at gunpoint while reporting a story in Oakland.

According to the Oakland Police Officers Association, a KGO reporter, crew member and their security guard were “rushed” by suspects who brandished firearms before stealing their camera equipment.

Spokespersons for the union said one of the suspects took the security guard’s handgun “by force” before taking off in an older model gold Toyota Camry.
