Louisville anchor Hayden Ristevski has just become an American citizen.

She’s been a permanant legal resident for years, but took the oath in Indianapolis this week. Ristevski was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and joined WDRB in 2016.

“In case you missed this on WDRB News today… thank you for all of the love and support,” Rivsteski wrote on social media. “I’m proud to be an American. You all help make Louisville feel like home!”
