Retail media is one of the bright spots in the ad industry, leading to the growth of the cottage industry of advertising tech companies focused on retail advertising.
Three-year-old Topsort sells technology that retailers and companies use to sell ads on their ecommerce websites and around the web. The firm is particularly focused on big retailers that already have some experience selling ads but are looking to scale their ad businesses. Topsort’s competitors include Criteo, Microsoft, and Publicis-owned Epsilon, said cofounder and CEO Regina Ye.
