Link International is looking driven, skilled graphic designer with a high level of attention to detail, to join the team and produce professional visual, digital and social experiences for company brands.

Role Details

Do you like railing berms on the weekend then coming into work on Monday to layout catalogues and adverts in InDesign? Or do you like taking those back windy roads on your GSX-R to get to work where you like sharing bike related content on social media?

If you’re into motorcycling, you’ve probably heard of Link International. We’re known throughout the motorcycling industry for representing some of the world’s top brands and supplying quality imported motorcycling parts, accessories & service.

We’re looking for a suitably qualified Graphic Designer to join the Link team and produce professional visual, digital and social experiences for company brands. Attention to detail is a must and the successful applicant will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with a passion for design and the ability to design collateral based on the direction of other team members.

The successful applicants main responsibilities will include:

• Creative conception of advertising material for company brands, with adherence and correct use of brand identity during production.

• Assistance with print, packaging and web design projects.

• Maintenance of digital library of product images and information.

• Negotiation with external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of material.

• Delivering press and online advertising, in accordance with advertising schedule deadlines.

• Creating and distributing internal communication materials and sales tools to support sales staff.

• Writing and scheduling engaging and relevant social media posts.

Skill/Attributes Required

Essential applicant requirements:

• Minimum of two years design work experience with relevant qualifications.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (predominantly InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Bridge and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Good understanding of print production with the ability to handle large publications.

• Experience in maintaining a high volume of professionally organised design resources, project files, and product information.

• Exceptional organisational, time management and planning skills.

• Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.

• Able to follow correct procedures unique to the design team (filing, file naming, keep job list up to date, proofing etc.)

• Portfolio of creative work spanning print and digital (show us what sets you apart).

• An undying thirst for creating those all illusive viral social posts.

• An extensive knowledge of the finer workings of Facebook Business Suite and Creator Studio.

Desirable application requirements:

• Basic knowledge of product photography, studio lighting and videography.

• Basic understanding of web advertising techniques.

• Fast learner and able to integrate easily into a functioning design team.

• Knowledge or interest of motorcycles or motorsport in general.

• Know your way around a Uno deck.
