Join AIGA NY and Queer Design Club (QDC) for an online conversation about the queer experience in design. QDC Co-founders Rebecca Brooker and John Hanawalt will start the event by discussing the results from the Queer Design Club Count survey of LGBTQ+ people across industries and disciplines. The purpose of the survey is to amplify queer voices and look at the challenges designers face in the workplace.
After the presentation, you will get to hear from the QDC community, a group of creatives from different areas of design discussing their experiences navigating the industry. After the discussion, they will open up the floor for a Q&A with the audience.
