Live from Pennsylvania… it’s Alex Wagner Tonight! TVNewser can exclusively reveal that the MSNBC host is embedded in the battleground East Coast state for a special live episode of her primetime show, premiering Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET.
With Pennsylvania polling currently showing a deadlock between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, Wagner and her team are hoping to get a better sense of how the scales might tip one way or the other in the final days of the election cycle.
“We went to meet Democrats in deep red central Pennsylvania and Trump supporters in deep blue inner city Philadelphia to better understand how each campaign is waging a fierce battle at the margins,” Wagner tells TVNewser about what viewers can expect to see in Alex Wagner Tonight: Live from Pennsylvania.

Wagner is making the most of her time in Pennsylvania by meeting with voters on both sides of the aisle at events around the state. In Philadelphia, for example, she’s dropping by a meeting of the city’s Black Republican Club, and checking in with Harris supporters at a Black outreach event.
Venturing outside of the City of Brotherly Love—where Harris and Trump had their one and only debate last month—Wagner will catch up with Pennsylvania senator John Fetterman who is currently in Schuylkill County making closing arguments for Harris’ to rural voters.
Finally, a swing through Allentown brings her into the La Mega radio station where owner and staunch Harris supporter Victor Martinez tapes his local show, El Relajo de la Mañana.
“They are both trying to pick up handfuls of voters in partisan strongholds, a testament to how close this race is, in what is the most critical battleground state of them all,” Wagner notes about what she’s learned during her time on the ground in Pennsylvania. “What we saw and heard in these places is fascinating.”
