Alphabet Revenue Grows 23%, But YouTube Advertising Lags

Google parent company Alphabet posted revenues of $68 billion in the first quarter of 2022, $54.66 billion of that was in advertising revenue. The earnings report was dented by the company’s YouTube division which missed analysts expectations. That unit was expected to bring in $7.51 billion, but instead brought in $6.87 billion.
