boom saloon is a global movement to democratise creativity for good. An ambitious non-profit, we publish a print magazine and run a creative studio specialising in design, editorial and strategy. Profits from these facilitate our community projects, which use creativity to inspire and empower those facing challenges.

Role Details

As part of the Government’s Kickstart scheme, we are looking for a Partnership Assistant to secure funding to help stabilise our revenue streams. Working under direction, the Partnership Assistant will help reach boom saloon’s business development goals and objectives. Typical responsibilities include: approaching businesses, local authorities, trusts and individuals to secure funding; motivating and facilitating supporters to maximise the funds they raise; organising and helping with fundraising activities/ events/ campaigns; managing sponsorship pipelines; working to targets; writing reports; preparing proposals. Ongoing research is required, into competitors, industry, market trends, demographics, business development and other relevant information to help inform partnership strategy. The Partnership Assistant will manage consistent, ongoing comms with all previous and potential partners.

Skill/Attributes Required

This job placement will give true insight into the fast paced growth of a young creative company, with multiple partnership opportunities. Our Partnership Assistant will learn how to nurture relations with previous and potential sponsors and partners. Working alongside our Community and Marketing Assistant, this role will form part of a small but interconnected team, joining together to further our work to democratise creativity for good with a talented global community.
