We are looking for an experienced, energetic, optimistic and brand led Creative / Graphic Designer to help us continue to modernise the way tea is perceived – both within the UK and overseas.
Role Details
In this role you’ll be on the front line of the experience we offer to our Drinkers and Stockists. You’ll be responsible for the development and management of all design-based assets which influence how our Drinkers and Stockists feel about Brew. You’ll cover everything – digital, print, packaging, physical design – creating a new way to look at and appreciate tea.
This Role Is Perfect for Someone Who…
– Has excellent experience to date working on branded content – no minimum required, but an excellent portfolio is a must.
– Loves to immerse themselves in what a brand is all about. Brands are more than pretty design, they’re personalities with beliefs, values and emotions. You’ll be one of our most important brand guardians.
– Loves the challenge of bringing an emotive, sensory product to life in a digital way.
– Is always looking to take accountability and brimming with design led ideas to solve business challenges.
– You’ll be covering a lot of areas in the role so being exceptionally well organised is a must.
– Loves to communicate and convey passion to others. You’ll be working with our sales, marketing and operations folks internally and our suppliers and Stockists externally, you ought be ready to share your energy.
– Has high standards. Our design, much like our tea, is really important to us. We don’t cut corners on either as they’re the linchpins of our brand.
– Loves tea. Of course.
What You’ll Be Doing
– Packaging. Completely responsible for all packaging design and development, from concepts and materials to finished artworks.
– Ecommerce. Supporting our Ecommerce Manager with digital assets, UX plans and wireframes to bring our tea and kit to life online.
– Digital Design. You’ll cover various other aspects of digital design from email marketing to social posting.
– Advertising. Working with our marketing folks to create exceptional branded content for advertising across social media, Stockist’s websites and other platforms.
– Point of Sale. Creating branded content to support the visibility of our brand and messaging across a host of different types of venues. From small cafes to large offices, museums to sporting events. It’s all about bringing the tea moment to life in the real world.
– Physical Spaces. Developing the look and feel of Tea HQ to support our plans to make it a Drinker and Stockist destination.
– Tone of Voice. This is a huge part of our marketing effort and brand perception. You’ll be understand it, developing it and implementing it across the entire business.
– Photography. Overseeing the creation and direction of our photography and video requirements.
Current Digital Tools
We currently use the following platforms, in addition to your experience with Adobe it would be nice if you’ve had involvement with some of the following. Not essential, but certainly a nice to have.
– Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager
Design Wise, Where Are We Going?
We love tea, particularly black tea. It’s all about reinventing the perception of the classic British cup of tea. Think modern British, with a few quirky extras. We’re not there yet – we want you to help us move in this direction.
