If the choice is to go big or go home at this year’s Super Bowl, you can bet that Sean Hannity and Bret Baier are gonna go big. The Fox News anchors came off the sidelines for the network’s Big Game promo, and TVNewser has your exclusive first look at the 15-second spot.
Not for nothing, but the duo also tease which team they’ll be rooting for in Sunday’s Super Bowl, which kicks off on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET across Fox’s linear and digital platforms. While Hannity sports the red of the Kansas City Chiefs, Baier notably rocks Philadelphia Eagles blue. We’re assuming that a rack of ribs is on the line for the winning side… in addition to bragging rights.
Before you use either anchor as a guide to picking the winner, remember that Baier and Hannity can make mistakes. For proof, just check out this blooper reel cataloguing some of their blown takes from the shoot. Both the promo and the bloopers will be shown across Fox News programs this week. The promo will also air during Fox’s pregame show on Sunday.
Baier will be making news ahead of the Super Bowl via his pregame show interview with President Donald Trump. That conversation is being pre-taped this week at Mar-a-Lago—Trump’s Florida headquarters—and will air at 3 p.m. on game day. Additional material from the interview will be shown on the Feb. 10 edition of Special Report with Bret Baier.
A number of Fox News personalities will likely be in New Orleans for the Super Bowl. They’ll be part of Fox’s massive on the ground operation that encompasses the Fox network, Fox Sports, Fox Deportes, and FS1. In the streaming space, Fox Sports will be part of a Tubi takeover that includes Fox’s pregame show, a Tubi Red Carpet and, of course, the Super Bowl itself.
It’s safe to say that Sunday is for going big. Monday, meanwhile, is for going home.
