Facebook this week rolled out a new site for its Elevate initiative aimed at aiding creators, job seekers, nonprofits, small businesses and students in the Black and Latinx communities.

The Elevate program is part of the social network’s pledge in June to invest $100 million in the Black community, with Elevate covering the Latinx community, as well.

Elevate provides community, education, empowerment and mentorship through vehicles including:

  • Virtual coaching sessions on how to optimize the use of Facebook products and beyond.

People can also stay connected to Elevate through its Facebook group, Facebook page or Instagram account.

Facebook wrote in a blog post, “Members of Black and Latinx and Hispanic communities have to confront the realities of discrimination, violence and injustice on a daily basis. At Facebook, we’re supporting these communities through products and programs that further social and economic empowerment.”
