Lia Kamanā is joining Fox affiliate KPTV in Portland, Oregon after working at KITV in Honolulu, Hawaii for more than three years.

“I am thrilled to announce I am joining the outstanding team at FOX12 (KPTV). I will anchor the weekday 12 p.m. newscast and report for Good Day Oregon M-F mornings,” she wrote on social media.

“Beyond grateful to continue doing what I love, while learning about and exploring this beautiful state. Oregon, I am looking forward to sharing your stories. Aloha!”

Kamanā started her career as an mmj in Amarillo, Texas. She’s also worked in Flint, Michigan
