Courtney King is leaving Cincinnati Fox affiliate WXIX after almost six years.

King posted the news on social media, saying her last day on air will be July 30.

“It was a difficult decision as the Tri-State has given me so many wonderful memories and friendships but it’s time to be closer to my family and friends in Illinois,” she wrote. “I am posting early so I can start sharing some of the Courtney Goodbye Tour with you all. I wish I had a big announcement of what exactly I’m doing next but I’m still figuring that out, although I plan on getting back into teaching Pilates during my “Free Agency.”

She joined WXIX as an anchor and reporter after working at WACH Fox News in Columbia, S.C. for five years.
