In time for International Women’s Day we’ve found over 80 talented female creators available to speak at your next design event.
2019 may still be fresh and new, but there have already been a few art & design conferences with a whole lot more scheduled in the year that have yet to announce their line-ups.
Hopefully there’ll be a host of female creative talent announced when those rosters of talks and presentations are published, but just in case any names are forgotten as speakers are booked, we’ve decided to publish this guide for conference organisers around the world, no matter their size.
In time not just for International Women’s Day 2019 but beyond, we present women creators from the fields of art, design, illustration and animation who not only have talent but who are also known for speaking at conferences worldwide e.g. Adobe MAX, D&AD Festival etc. A lot of these names are already appearing at events coming this spring, and we’ll be adding more once other line-ups are revealed (or we stumble across another great talent with speaking history and availability on their portfolio). Click on their names to see their great work – and get in contact, of course.
The list is alphabetically arranged by first name and broken down into art, illustration, graphic design, motion graphics, animation, UX design and creatives, the last category belonging to the likes of agency folk. We’ve also included a few creative organisations in there like The Other Box, who’ll be speaking at Apple’s International Women’s Day-inspired Made by Women series in-store.
This is not an exhaustive list, meaning we are open to suggestions – so please introduce yourself or a female speaker via our Twitter profile, Instagram account or Facebook page. Comments are open, too – and yes we are open to trans nominations, too.
