Courtney Fischer has left ABC owned Houston station KTRK.
Fischer has worked at the station since August 2015 and was the station’s morning reporter.
Houston media blogger Mike McGuff said Fischer is leaving local TV for a position with Harris County. This comes a week after morning anchor Jacob Rascon announced his departure.
Fischer is also the host and creator of the true-crime Unsolved series airing on Hulu. She also contributes to the station’s most infamous Houston murder series, Texas True Crime.
Before joining KTRK Fischer worked at WTAE in Pittsburgh. She also worked for WLEX Lexington, Kentucky, and WEHT Evansville, Indiana.
