Inside the Deck Perplexity Is Using to Pitch Advertisers

Generative AI search engine Perplexity, which positions itself as a competitor to Google Search, is gearing up to launch its advertising platform in Q4, according to a pitch deck obtained by ADWEEK.

Perplexity’s ad strategy will initially target 15 key categories, including health, technology, finance, arts and entertainment, and food and beverage. Advertisers can choose to sponsor “related questions” or run video ads in prominent positions—either at the top of related questions on mobile or in the side screen on desktop.
