Shillington students from around the world share the work of creatives who inspire them in the #ILoveTheseGuys series. In this post, New York graduate Jacqueline Ostrom highlights projects from the Los Angeles based creative studio Kati Forner Design.

Kati Forner is experienced in print, digital, packaging and interactive design, creating work that is both elegant and minimal. Five years ago, she moved her creative studio to Los Angeles and has been developing identities for beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands. The studio believes “design has the power to tell stories, deepen engagement, transform brands and grow business.”

Kati’s branding and packaging design for Muse + Metta Kombucha is spot-on for exuding an aspirational lifestyle, it looks sturdy but you can feel the lightness and effervescence. The assortment of cool pastels she assigns to each flavor is so rich and lovely.
