
The biggest challenge for this year’s Super Bowl advertisers has been been trying to strike the right tone in a year marked by high unemployment, political turmoil and a deadly pandemic. And several marketers came to the same conclusion: Hire a Saturday Night Live alum—two, if possible—to bring audiences some comic relief during the Big Game.
