Cooper Hewitt Design Triennial installation

The Cooper Hewitt Design Museum partnered with the Cube Design Museum to bring the work of 62 international design teams inspired by nature, its resources and properties.

The projects on view range from experimental prototypes to consumer products, immersive installations and architectural constructions. During this important time with the rising awareness around ecology and climate change, these collaborations involve scientists, engineers, advocates for social and environmental justice, artists and philosophers who are all engaging with nature in innovative ways.

These provocations and solutions put forth by today’s extraordinary design teams serve as encouragement for an enduring and more respectful partnership with nature.

The exhibition includes daily tours led by curators and special installations at the Cooper Hewitt’s Arthur Ross Terrace and Garden, featuring two large-scale, site-specific installations unique to the triennial.
