Join Charles Nix for a talk about the hand lettering work of George Abrams during the 50s, 60s, and 70’s, showing images of both process and product. For those who don’t know, Abrams was a lettering artist during the golden age of advertising—popular for his casual-script, and produced headlines, taglines, and logos for a wide range of typographic and calligraphic styles.
Charles Nix is a typographer, designer, and educator. He is a Senior Type Designer at Monotype.
The workshop takes place on 6 February 2018 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm in New York at Type@Cooper
