The role of the Graphic Designer will be to support the OTD team in all aspects of the brand launch. The person in this role will gain significant exposure to all departments within the organization and all aspects of building and launching an ecommerce website.

Role Details

The ideal candidate will have an interest in Ecommerce & Marketing, a pulse on both technology & fashion trends and most of all-an open mind and eagerness to learn.

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing and executing creative concepts that will propel and enhance the OTD brand visually across all communication channels. The Graphic Designer will execute all brand guidelines, ensuring brand consistency and the highest quality of design standards are always executed.

Job Responsibilities
• Create and deliver all assets for 360-marketing campaigns which include, OTDNYC.com, digital ads, emails, social grid, web assets, print assets, and out-of-home platforms.
• Partner with creative, ecommerce & paid media partners on a day-to-day basis for design updates and changes. Respond to feedback/analytics to continue to test & reiterate on creative for optimal customer engagement/conversion
• Develop marketing materials for seasonal product launches and campaigns, for digital and print mediums.
• Create & build various email templates with Klaviyo for both triggered and marketing emails
• Concept & design interesting/eye catching ad units specific to each channel (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
• Responsible for OTD brand website design updates and asset planning documents.
• Collaborate closely with design and marketing to translate merchandising strategy into compelling, brand-right creative.
• Create & prep decks and/or presentation boards for all design reviews (email, digital ads, social, site.)
• Responsible for designing content for advertising, in-store signage programs, consumer collateral (catalogs, mailers, postcards, etc.), packaging, web-based marketing materials (e-blasts, web banners), and internal presentations
• Assist Creative Director with post-shoot production (Photo selects, retouching notes, and mock ad layouts)
• Research and share contemporary trends in graphic design, and help build Studio Inspiration Library
• Pull inspirational swipe for content development and photography
• Develop brand style guide
• Create and translate templates seasonally.
• Maintain & organize asset folders with all ecommerce & editorial assets
• Shopify & Klaviyo experience a plus

Skill/Attributes Required

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite,including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, and Lightroom
• Knowledge of Premier or Final Cut a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT skills
• Experience creating Keynote presentations, a plus
• Expert knowledge of typography and grid systems
• Design examples of typography work with photography
• Experience in apparel or related luxury business preferred
• Resourceful, self-starter. Executes projects from start to finish with minimal oversight.
• Receptive to feedback/direction
• Solution oriented thinking and attitude
• Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
• Experience retouching fashion/editorial images
• Pays strong attention to detail and always operates with a sense of urgency
• Extremely curious, eager to learn
• Open minded & adaptable. Open to taking on challenges outside of the scope of your role.
• Technology savvy
• Strong & clear communicator (written & verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven studio
• Strong organizational and time management skills
