With Super Bowl 54 approaching, it’s time to start keeping an eye on which brands are planning for the biggest advertising event of the year. Adweek’s Super Bowl 2020 Ad Tracker is a one-stop shop that provides updates as brands announce their plans for the game, release teasers and reveal their full spots. We are tracking all the national commercials—and some notable regional ad buys as well—that will be running in the game, which will air Feb. 2 on Fox.
This year, Fox Sports will receive as much as $5.6 million per 30-second spot. As of Nov. 25, the network has already sold out its entire in-game inventory for Super Bowl LIV, with automotive, technology, beverages, CPG, retail and telco companies showing the most interest so far. The telecast will also feature several brands that don’t traditionally advertise on network TV, according to Seth Winter, evp of sports sales for Fox Sports: “A couple ‘a-ha’ advertisers that people are going to say, ‘I didn’t expect to see that.’”
