Awards Watch: Scripps News reporter Jason Bellini has added another honor to his crowded shelf. Following previous accolades from the Deadline Club and the New York Press Club, Bellini received the David Bloom Award from the Radio and Television Correspondents’ Association for his half-hour special, Ukraine’s Stolen Orphans. “We didn’t have the large teams on the ground [in Ukraine] that other outlets did,” Bellini told TVNewser in June. “We found our own way of covering the war.”
