Trinny London is changing the face of makeup. We are growing quickly and looking for a Junior Digital Designer who will focus primarily on improving the design of our website, which is the heart of our business. You will work closely with in-house content, creative and development teams.

Role Details

Trinny London is changing the face of makeup. Portable, stackable and perfect for application on the go, the entirely cream-based range uses only the highest quality ingredients and pigments. Every product is formulated for fingertip application, has remarkable staying power, and colours are buildable and blendable. Contained in a clickable T-Pot, each product snaps together in a smart, simple system – the stack.

Trinny London has also developed the unique Match2Me technology to ensure that customers are never misdiagnosed at the beauty counter again. In just five taps, Match2Me finds the makeup that perfectly suits individuals’ unique combinations of skin, hair and eyes. Finding the right makeup shades has never been so easy.

We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer who will focus primarily on improving the design of our website, which is the heart of our business. You will work closely with in-house content, creative and development teams.

The Role
– Design site content and graphics, coordinating with the tech, creative, copywriting and marketing teams
– Conceptualise and design beautiful but highly effective mobile-first responsive web pages
– Design banners for the website to support key marketing campaigns
– Suggest creative solutions to website challenges, including but not limited to driving engagement with content, conversion and brand experience
– Stay up to date with digital innovations in the industry and competitive space to help inform and design innovative ideas
– Develop and build landing page designs for seasonal campaigns and promotions within our internal CMS system
– Support on ad-hoc creative briefs as and when required
– Support other digital design requirements for other channels for the marketing team as needed
– Collaborate with briefing stakeholders and establish key project objectives
– Manage workload and ensure timely delivery of all projects, meeting all sign-off points and flagging up any potential risks or delays

The Candidate
– At least one year’s experience in digital design with a great portfolio working on mobile-first and responsive websites
– A mastery of the principles of great web design
– A strong understanding of UX best practice, responsive design and what websites are and are not technically capable of
– Experience using Sketch, Photoshop and Zeplin
– Comfortable working with autonomy and in a fast-paced environment
– Relentless drive to produce great work
– Flawless attention to detail and capable of producing and reproducing pixel perfect assets
– Excellent organisational and communication skills
– Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask to manage several projects simultaneously
– Highly collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
– Development skills are a bonus
