Week of October 21 Cable News Ratings: Election Day’s Approach Reels in More Viewers

PROGRAMMING:

Fox News had 13 of the 15 spots of the most-watched cable news shows of the week, with The Five (3.661 million viewers at 5 p.m. ET) taking the top spot. MSNBC occupied the remaining two spots, with The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell (1.815 million viewers at 10 p.m. ET) landing at No. 10.

In the demo, Jesse Watters Primetime (466,000 demo viewers at 8 p.m. ET) repeated as the top show with FNC taking 11 out of the 15 slots. The Last Word (214,000 viewers at 10 p.m. ET.) was once again MSNBC’s most-watched show at No. 10.
