The exhibition looks back at how graphic design has evolved since the 1920s and displays various materials collected by typographer and designer Jan Tschichold in Weimar Germany. In the collection, you will find posters, brochures, advertisements, magazines and books from Kurt Schwitters, El Lissitzky, László Moholy-Nagy, Herbert Bayer, Piet Zwart, Ladislav Sutnar and others. You will also find out about Tschichold’s book Die Neue Typographie—an important text about modern design and an important reference for working designers.
