Solen Aref has joined WTIC as Multi-Skilled Journalist.

Before joining the Hartford, Connecticut Fox affiliate, she was an MSJ at sister station WMAZ in Macon, Georgia.

In her goodbye to WMAZ, she wrote on social media, “Goodbye Georgia! in 2 years at channel 13, I covered 3 presidents, 2 mass shootings, and one hurricane from hell. I’m going to miss this place and the people for the rest of my life!”
